Nanopeutics™ textiles can be used for wound dressing. They enable the transport of oxygen and exudates, while, simultaneously, protecting from bacteria. Nanofibers can, additionally, carry some antimicrobial, haemostatic or healing enhancement pharmaceutical actives. These actives can be layered in a pad to give a number of different benefits e.g. stops bleeding and antimicrobial layers in the one pad. High absorbency and anti-adhesion dressings are also possibilities with the Nanopeutics™ technology.

Nano- m•doc™
Because m•doc™ is a polymer it is well suited to the nanospider™ production techniques. Nano-m•doc™ is an efficient delivery system for m•doc™ and it is 5 times more effective than m•doc™ pad alone. The efficiency of this delivery system also impacts positively on costs as less active material is needed for an improved efficacy. There is also an ability to create advanced wound pads with different active materials incorporated into different layers as well as active m•doc™ haemostatic layer
